1870-1914 was the last time people built something from nothing.

Rising like a phoenix from the ashes of monarchical rule into a modern era.

It was a time where new networks of global supply chains run by people (not crowns) were set in place. A time where individuals elevated out of the confines of ‘caste’ systems set in place to keep some as persistent and consistent rulers and others their indoctrinated slaves.

It was a time, specifically in the United States, where organization and action came together to build industries that propelled infrastructure and societal pillars (like arts & architecture) into modern day miracles. But what did it take for those miracles of John D. Rockefeller and Pierpont Morgan? The drive to do it.

relevant advice for 𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖞𝖉𝖆𝖞 𝖕𝖊𝖔𝖕𝖑𝖊: John D. Rockefeller gets a lot of heat for ‘bad things’ like tacking down the medical establishment and shoving the youth into schools to train them to be 'good workers’… but did you know that he grew up on a farm with a ton of siblings? And he was daring enough to go out and try to make something of himself? What would happen today if you approached your life with that same energy?

Let’s find out…

They called his organizational tendencies, “morganizing.”

master of efficiency

So what are we going through right now?

Master of efficiency, Pierpont Morgan was obsessed with organization—especially when it came to business operations.

He sold his initial stake in oil and re-invested into the railroad business in the late 1800s.

What happened was he bought a handful of railroad companies and he reinvested and reallocated the focus of resources into creating cohesive operations so that the railroad companies could move efficiently.

During this time, it was especially important to make sure that the railroads could carry goods across the entirety of the US by doing this he was able to not only change the city that he lived in which was New York, and reinvest into the banking industry to create a whole system of financial success that enhance productivity and efficiency for the entire country in the post-Civil War era,

By re-allocating his assets, he was able to take out a lot of the fraud that was happening in the railroad industries in the stock exchange at that time. A lot of fake projects were gaining massive investment, and this helped set apart legitimate businesses from fake ones laundering money for personal gain.

What we hear about today is that there was a lot of Monopoly happening at that time in the railroads, but the fact of the matter is during the start of the railroads in the US there were a lot of fraudulent rail companies.

It’s similar to the way we see a lot of fraud in Web3 today; a lot of people who talk about getting things done and projects completed and yet nothing ever comes to fruition and millions in funding as squandered and it just seems like the whole system is a lie… and that’s not new. This happened back then as well and then you have a few organizationally focused people like Pierpont Morgan that turned the whole thing around and yes, did he buy up these companies? Did he create a strong hold on an entire industry that helped him propel his own success? Yes, and the whole country got a lot out of it so in today’s world where we are filled with online trolls or people who want to dig into your past and attempt to air some dirty laundry, I want you to take on the personality trait of Pierpont Morgan of not giving a bleep about what people say or think or feel about you.

If people like Pierpoint, Morgan didn’t exist, society would still be in the ditches of the wild west, where resources were limited, and crime was high.

marketing is 𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔦𝔭𝔲𝔩𝔞𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫

〰️

marketing is 𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔦𝔭𝔲𝔩𝔞𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 〰️

As Jim Rickards fantastically summarizes in his book ‘Sold Out,’ world trade was at its peak from 1870-1914.

Today we live in a cloud society where no one takes anything seriously, and it’s causing our infrastructure and our financial systems to collapse…

The focus is more on showing than doing… and it’s creating a circus for entertainment and industries like banking. Yes, banking! Banking is where the focus should be on stability, creation of sound operational systems. Banking should be focused on things that might seem a little boring to an ADD-mind or ADD society one might say.

When you have boring industry, you have opportunity to scale why because anything that scalable is inherently boring repetitive monotonous, unequivocally tame.

Team systems create reliability. No, it’s not the big dopamine rush your brain might be craving, but it does allow you to have less stress… and we all know stress is the biggest killer in today’s world.

Today’s marketing madness will have you focusing on how to improve your health, but what if we take that focus and redirect it to how to create better health for your business?

When we do this, we stop focusing on what’s trendy, and we start focusing on what is truly needed for happiness and success, not only for yourself, but for anyone that you work with and employ and provide services for.

OK. So, the same way you look at a person and see if their hair is healthy, that is the same zoomed-out snap analysis you need to do for a business before you work together!

When a person is really healthy and their metabolism is operating with high efficiency, you will see it in their hair, skin, eyes, aura… and it will be undeniable.

The same goes for a business. Compare marketing to clothing or accessories and make up even.

You can hide a lot of bad business practices with good marketing, but at the end of the day when you take all the makeup off and you’re just stripped down in your PJs, you will see what is truly going on. Where the flaws are, and what needs emergency attention.

So when you are operating your own business, you need to look at yourself in the mirror and really be honest. Radically, honest and don’t try to make yourself feel better about the reality of what is or isn’t going on. You need to voice your concerns and you need to find people who are going to help you with your weaknesses.

The problem that people have is showing or communicating their weaknesses without losing respect or autonomy.

The workaround is to lean into your serious nature, just like Pierpont Morgan, and recruit others. These ‘others’ will then have an opportunity for larger and greater success to be part of something that is much bigger than themselves (your business).

In the example of Pierpont Morgan, what he was offering to his collaborators and partners and employees was a chance to be part of making America a successful country that could operate freely and truly have independence.

What he was speaking to was the immigrant nature of the times. Many people were coming to New York, and the United States in general, to get away from poverty and start a new life away from the old social paradigm.

It’s so very similar to what we are experiencing now; it’s just placed in a different way because we have existing infrastructure, and there’s not really another place to go to, but we have to revamp and reinvent what we have the way that all countries with long histories have evolved throughout the centuries.

Consider this: In the 1700s coffee was introduced to Europe.

Right now social media, the Internet, ‘The Digital Age,’ the digital revolution is the modern equivalent to coffee in the 1700s.

When you drink coffee, you’re not just suddenly motivated to do one thing.

Coffee makes you change many things. It changes your whole understanding of what is going on and how you can contribute a little bit more… and that is how you should be looking at Web3 infrastructure and the landscape ahead for the digital age.

This technology is your new life juice. It’s going to give you so much and it’s up to you to take action.

Some people will get addicted the way they’re addicted to having 7 cups of coffee. They’re gonna stay on social media and do nothing all day that’s OK there will always be people like that in society, but what’s not OK is if/when you have talent (something to offer the world) and you become one of the blood sucking mosquitos of society.

The world needs serious people.

The serious nature of people like Pierpont Morgan will help you get in touch with a different side of yourself that society is constantly telling you should not exist. People will tell you to chill out. “Relax it’s not so bad,” but if you feel passionate about something it’s up to you to make a change in your personal life.

The best example I can give is that you might be looking at an entire system.

You might be looking at a city falling apart from productivity to dangerous crime and poverty, and what you can do in that situation is to help lift up your micro community into something bigger.

When you don’t have massive momentum going on, you have to create it by starting out small start with the small wins start with a small events start with a small networking and that will soon balloon into something that is bigger, but here’s the catch: You have to be willing to do it even when you don’t feel like it.

You have to make your life easier by using the tools of this digital revolution to really grow and expand.

I’m writing this right now by talking into a microphone on my phone and then having it transcribe I didn’t want to do any work today but here I am talking into my phone so that I can meet my own personal deadline so that I can feel the benefits of being consistent and prosperous in my own mind.

Opportunity comes from within, so you have to say yes to yourself, and you have to say yes to expanding into your insecure zones.

If you’ve ever traveled around the world, you know that the Third World countries were you might not feel so safe is typically where you have the greatest revelations about who you are and what you want to be in this lifetime.

It’s simply not enough to just look around and think that you’re going to have some major breakthrough by doing the same thing every single day and that’s how you balance out the monotony with real world: insecure action.

A lot of the things that you do are going to lead you nowhere but that is what makes the good things stand out. If you don’t know a good thing from a bad thing, then all you can do is try try something try the wrong thing try the right thing go against your instinct of monotony and scarcity and lack and limitation because the world is not a predictable place no matter how much you desire for it to be so.

And there’s always some surprise somewhere and then those micro surprises are your chances for opportunity and success, and to become an insider of this new world.

In the late 1800s after the Civil War, there was such a huge emphasis on “the haves and have nots” in the world, and yet during that same time—when that conversation of poverty vs. economic prosperity was happening—it was the time when the most people were able to become robber barons.

People like John D. Rockefeller actually started out their lives on a farm and then grew massive empires by having relentless focus by discarding mainstream narratives… because who really is writing these narratives? what are their lives like?

We all know that everything published my mainstream ‘journalists’ is such a joke because those journalists are just trying to get by in this rat race. It’s why we love blogs and the new wave of art and digital creation: vlogging, podcasting, and soaking in the work of independent creators.

It’s giving rise to a whole new ecosystem of monetized creativity where you are able to think for yourself—but the most important thing is allowing yourself to think for yourself, so how do you do that?

Well you have to get in touch with what’s really going on beneath the surface that’s why every business owner should consider reading The Artist Way, and doing the 12 week program with their closest friends.

Doing this with your closest friends, will help you overcome your blocks and barriers that are connected to what you are creating in your life. We have become so conditioned to think that creativity is art or singing; anything related to liberal communication, but what if business was your art? What is serving your community was your art and your creation?

What we create is every moment of our lives. We create life by inhaling and exhaling, so why would we say that creation is limited to something that would be categorized as frivolous or nonessential work category?

This is where the pandemic comes in…. let’s dive into it below.

Final Note: Get out of clown town.

𝕱𝕬𝕷𝕶 the great leap forward.

The great leap forward is patient. It’s focused on a 100 year period where traditions and personal expression are limited beyond belief; where a new wave comes in, where everyone follows the rules… but I don’t really like rules. Do you?

It’s interesting to see how limited the education system has been.

You won’t realize that you’ve had a great education until you start spending time around people who have never learned a single thing in their life (despite being schooled for decades) and suddenly they want to be informed! Good for them for starting, and good for the rest of us for being patient… because educating yourself beyond a hefty tuition price is a lifelong process.

You will have to read every day. You will have to challenge your beliefs. You will have to debate with your own inner critic relentlessly.

Some people called this overthinking and they’re not wrong, but that’s how the great philosophers opened up their understanding of the world and shared their revelations on a grand scale with others to create thought-revolutions, and in today’s world these thought revolutions will be digital. Digital!!!

Will you dare to be part of it?

If you’re on the fence of saying yes, tune into this:

We’re living in a society with a whole bunch of do nothing humans and what I mean by that is not that they are not capable of doing anything.

It’s that they’ve been conditioned to do absolutely nothing.

It takes them one week’s time to schedule a 15 minute meeting. Why? Because they’re complacent. Because they accept it and they feel like it’s fine.

What’s fine about that?! Are they really happy?

We have to look back at our initial qualifiers that we talked about earlier in this paper: the hair, the skin, the eyes of the business and the people.

For those saying doing nothing is fine… we have to ask: If they’re so happy, if they’re so fulfilled, if they’re feeling so in touch with who they are and what they can be what they really can be, would they look the way they look?

Tying this back to Pierpont Morgan: the man was fat and had a bulbous acne. He did not look healthy, but is it because he was carrying the burden of over 1000 men their lives and their family is on his skin? Or likely on the tip of his nose? Quite possibly?!

That’s where society has a chance to become more balanced.

Pierpont Morgan did not have the tools that we have today (these digital tools of success of communication of clarity of interacting with places and things we’ve never seen before). That means that we could have 100 Pierpont Morgans where previously we had one.

Why? There is a lot more potential. You have more opportunity now than ever and if you feel worried that you’re going to have to carry the burden of the world the way he did, that and you’re going to be fat and ugly and burdened—that you’re going to have to be so serious 100% of the time… it’s just not true!

Today, the digital era allow you to see so many more people like you, which means there are so many more people who will be able to work with you on your level to lift up your success and you will lift up theirs and vice versa.
